Strengths
Tarik Skubal is the best pitcher in the league this season — nobody else is close. Corbin Carroll, Gunnar Henderson, and Roman Anthony give the Banshees three young cornerstone hitters who should be pillars of this franchise for years. Connelly Early, the team's protected prospect, has already made an impact on the mound. The championship infrastructure is still here, and one good week from Juan Soto could turn this team's season around entirely.
Weaknesses
Juan Soto has been the biggest disappointment of the 2026 season so far — 73 points from the supposed best player in the game is nowhere near what Jacob needs to compete. Spencer Strider hasn't thrown a pitch. The championship hangover is real: title rosters in keeper leagues often shed depth as other managers pick apart the winners in the offseason, and the Banshees are thinner than they were last October. How Jacob responds to being 1-3 as defending champions will define whether this becomes a dynasty or a one-year story.
