Strengths
Bobby Witt Jr. and Mookie Betts are legitimately elite fantasy assets — five-category contributors capable of carrying a lineup on their own in any given week. When both are healthy and clicking, the Fuzzy Bottoms top-end production is competitive with anyone in the league. And for the first time, the pitching staff might actually be worth something: Jacob deGrom, when upright, is as dominant as any arm in fantasy, and Hunter Greene gives the rotation a legitimate second ace with the kind of strikeout upside that fills a scoresheet fast. If that pitching depth holds — a significant if, given deGrom's relationship with the injured list — Dugan may finally have a roster on his hands.
Weaknesses
Dugan has watched two of the league's premier fantasy assets rack up nearly 3,000 combined points and still somehow found a way to lose — which is genuinely impressive in its own right. The drop-off after Witt Jr. and Betts is not just steep, it's a cliff with no net: pitching depth, corner positions, and middle relief have collectively operated as a point-destruction machine, effectively laundering elite production into last-place finishes. The result is a franchise that looks like a contender at positions one and two and a streaming experiment everywhere else
